Based on your answers you are not eligible for the Eviction Settlement Program, which is designed to provide assistance to individuals and families who are facing eviction by landlords who have already filed a case against them in court.
If you are experiencing a financial hardship with paying your rent or mortgage due to COVID-19 but not yet facing a legal eviction, the COVID-19 Housing Assistance Program (CHAP) may be able to assist you. The City of Memphis Division of Housing and Community Development has made funds available on a first-come first-served basis.
