  • Continuing Strings

    This class is for students who have taken our beginning orchestra or have at least 2 years of experience and are ready for the next level of instruction. Students continue to practice reading notation and playing parts independently in a group ensemble. This course will focus on skills needed to refine musical development including the use of vibrato, performing extreme dynamics, shifting into 2nd and 3rd position, and playing 2 octave scales. Students will perform music requiring increased technical skill, improve sight reading skills, and prepare for entry into higher level ensembles.  Students will learn in-person on Tuesdays 5:00p.m. - 6:00p.m @ Wake Forest Baptist Church 107 South Ave Wake Forest, NC. 27587. Concert is on the last day of class @ 6:00p.m.

  • Payments made to WFCYO are non refundable. In the event that you are unable to attend a session that you have paid for, please contact WFYCO in writing prior to the start of the session. Where appropriate WFCYO will try to provide a prorated credit toward a future session that is offered.
