Jesse L. Suggs, Jr. Chamber Ensemble (Prerequisite: Audition)

This ensemble is for students who have advanced technical skill, refined vibrato, demonstrate mastery shifting in 3rd-6th positions, and fortitude to practice on their own. Students are expected to practice and perform at a high level. At least 2-3 additional hours of practice is expected per week outside of class to master advanced chamber and orchestral literature written by diverse composers. Students will learn in-person on Tuesdays 6:00p.m. - 6:50p.m @ Friendship Chapel Baptist Church 237 Friendship Chapel Rd Wake Forest, NC. 27587. Concert is on the last day of class @ 6:00p.m.

Regular rehearsal attendance is important for your student to build confidence as they learn how to play with their ensemble and prepare for their final concert. We understand life happens, and circumstances may arise that are out of your control, but please make every effort to attend all scheduled rehearsals. Performing in the final concert on April 28th is also expected (more than 2 unexcused absences could prevent your student from participating in the concert). Thank you for your cooperation. (This does not include the additional practice/help sessions on select Thursdays.)

WFCYO's Advanced Chamber Players are for students who have experience playing in advanced string duos, trios, and quartets. Students enrolling in this class must have advanced technical skill, refined vibrato, mastered shifting in 3rd-6th positions, and fortitude to practice on their own. The repertoire will include a mix of pop, contemporary, and classical music which requires advanced technical skill and ability. Students are expected to practice and perform at a high level. At least 2-3 additional hours of practice is expected per week outside of class to master the material. Students will learn in-person on Tuesdays 6:00p.m. - 6:50p.m. Concert is on the last day of class. *Tuition includes the additional practice/help sessions on the following Thursdays @ WF Baptist: -Beginning Level 2 : February 5, March 5 -Continuing: February 12, March 12, April 9 -Resonance: February 19, March 19, April 16 -Chamber: February 26, March 26
