Welcome to the SHIM Art Network Artist Application for Individuals, and thank you for your interest in joining a SHIM Exhibitor Group.

Applications from individual artists seeking membership in SHIM Exhibitor Groups are accepted year-round on a rolling basis. Via the streamlined application below, you can apply to our in-house and partner programs all at once; no need to fill out multiple applications for multiple opportunities and no need to worry about missing deadlines for consideration.

Once in our system, your application will be held for 12 months and considered for the opportunities and membership groups to which you have applied, according to each group's calendar for enrollment. Upcoming deadlines specific to upcoming group exhibition projects or enrollment periods can be found at each group's info page at shhhim.com, where applicable.

SHIM/Invitational and SHIM/Emerge are our premier in-house curated Exhibitor Groups for established mid-career artists and for young emerging artists, respectively. Either group is a great place to start your application!

Want to build your own SHIM Exhibitor Group?
Curators, collectives, and other like-minded organizations can apply to form their own Exhibitor Group as a Group Connector with SHIM!

TO APPLY:

Please review the information below describing our current program offerings for individual artists, provide us with your professional information, upload work sample images with descriptions, select which memberships you’d like to be considered for, and submit your non-refundable Application Fee(s).

Final acceptance of your application will be pending its review by our in-house and partner Exhibitor Group Connectors. If accepted for membership, all SHIM Exhibitor Groups operate with annual membership fees, and your Application Fee will be deducted from your first year's Membership Fee.

SHIM/Invitational Group Connector: Wilson Duggan SHIM/Invitational is SHIM's premier in-house Exhibitor Group open to established mid-career artists in all disciplines. Member Artists are enrolled on an annual basis, for participation in exhibitor group exhibitions and projects.	ANAGRAM Gallery Group Connector: Anne Rynearson ANAGRAM is a contemporary platform for emerging and mid-career artists based in Minnesota and beyond​. Our gallery is centered on critically-creative thinkers, artists that make visually inventive work that is thoughtful in material, process and concept.
Vox Populi Print Collective Group Connector: Barry Roal Carlsen The Vox Populi Print Collective is a printmaking guild that seeks to elevate, celebrate, and promote fine art printmaking in the US and abroad. Participating guild members create, curate, and fund exhibitions exclusively for its members.	ODETTA Digital Group Connector: Ellen Hackl Fagan ODETTA Digital is the online portal for ODETTA Gallery, a New York City based fine art gallery established in Brooklyn in 2014 and currently operating in Harlem and in Greenwich, CT.
SHIM/Printmaking - Mezzotint Group Connectors: Devon Stackonis & Jayne Reid Jackson SHIM/Printmaking – Mezzotint is a collective which seeks to promote the works of international contemporary artists working in this highly specialized, centuries-old medium. Participating guild members create, curate, and fund exhibitions exclusively for its members.
