    Purpose
The Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation Student Loan Program is designed to address a portion of the unmet need in a medical student’s budget after aid has been received from other sources. Awards are limited to $10,000 per year for a maximum of three years or $30,000. Students entering their first year of medical school are not eligible.

Applications must be submitted annually to the financial aid office where the medical student is enrolled. Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation staff will notify loan recipients of approval no later than April 15. All loan proceeds are paid directly to the school in two equal installments.
