When your child joins a class at Hawthorne School of Dance, she/he is part of a school and it is assumed that your child will attend regularly and continue from one term to the next, progressing throughout the levels. If you wish to withdraw your child from HSOD, please inform your teacher in writing giving half a terms notice.
Fees are non-refundable and are not transferrable from term to term, or to another person.
All participants must be escorted to and collected from the studio by their parent or guardian.
Parents may only watch on 'Watching Week' which is the last week of each term; unless otherwise agreed by your teacher.
All participants must wear appropriate dance clothing and footwear and have their hair neatly groomed for all classes. Please visit the website for full unfiorm details.
No food or drinks, except water, may be brought in to the studios.
Fees are due three terms per year on the by the 1st September, 1st January and the 1st April prior to the start of term. A £10 administration fee will be added for late payments.
In case of cancellation due to weather or Acts of God, classes are non-refundable
In the event of closure due to COVID-19, all classses will be delivered online via Zoom with immediate effect. No refunds or transfers will be issued.
HSOD has a strict no photography or videography policy for parents, visitors and spectators.
HSOD will use the email address given to contact you regarding classes and fees. Your phone number will only be used in an emergency. No personal data will be shared with a third party.
I permit HSOD to use photograph(s), alone or in conjunction with wording and/or drawings, solely and exclusively for publicity materials.
