9.) The local tribunal told me to Appeal to the Second Instance / Regional tribunal. I was not told I could Appeal my case to the Roman Rota as the Second Court.

10.) I want to protest the First Instance tribunal's 'decision' to annul my marriage sacrament, via an Appeal to the Roman Rota.

11.) If / when the First Instance (local) tribunal decides that your marriage sacrament is annulled (and they will!), do you know that if you Appeal to the Roman Rota that “decision” is moot until Rome decides your case.

12.) Do you also know that the very first step to Appeal the local tribunal’s decision to annul your sacrament, to the Rota, is that you must write TO THE LOCAL TRIBUNAL a very simple, professional letter requesting the Rota to hear your Appeal case. Also include “Please send me the name of the Advocate in Rome who is / will be assigned to my Appeal case.” Give this letter to the local tribunal to send to Rome. You could also mail a duplicate directly to the Dean of the Roman Rota (we recommend via Return Receipt Requested).

13.) Do you know that the request for an Advocate in Rome is the very last time you need to have ANY contact with the local tribunal ever again (& good riddance).
