Student Information

Parent/ Guardian and Student, please initial each line item below. Remember, to sign and date at the bottom of this section.

Absences must be cleared within 72 hours by a parent/guardian. Parent/Guardian must call the Attendance Hotline or provide a written note. After 72 hours, an absence not cleared is considered unexcused and cannot be cleared.

Cell phones will be turned off and put away during class time. This includes the time when a student is out of class with a pass. If a cell phone rings during class time, or a student uses the phone during class time without prior teacher approval, the cell phone will be confiscated and sent to the Principal’s office for the remainder of the school day. In the event of a 2nd occurrence a parent/guardian will be required to pick up the cell phone/electronic item at the Principal’s office

Once a student has arrived on campus, the student may not leave the campus without an Off Campus Pass issued by the office. Off Campus Passes will be issued to students with prior parent permission only. A student leaving without an Off Campus Pass is considered truant and the student will be assigned a detention.

Students arriving at school improperly dressed will be counseled, loaned alternative clothing and/or request for parent to bring change of clothing. Consistent defiance of dress standards will result in a detention, parent conference or, if the problem persists, suspension.

I/We have read, discussed and understand the Oak Glen High School Student Handbook and will adhere to guidelines and follow the rules.

I have read the dress code for Oak Glen High School and the Student Responsibilities handout and received a copy of them both. As a student, I agree to adhere to the student responsibilities and behavior expectations as outlined and explained to me. I understand that by showing behavior contrary to what was outlined, I am in defiance and disciplinary action will be taken.

Oak Glen High Schoool is participating in The San Diego County Office of Education ASSET's program which supports 6th period and the after-school activities for our student.  These classes will be offered online during the COVID event.
