• The "I Am" Exercise

  • As discussed in the previous section, we are all seeds; encoded to be who we are. An apple seed sprouts and grows into an apple tree. An oak tree sprouts and grows into an oak tree that produces acorns. The same is true for us. There is an exact plan and purpose for your life.

Our work together in this course will help you remember who you truly are and what your divine purpose is here on earth. When you start taking steps to understand who you are, you have a stronger root to grow from; a stronger foundation to build from. But our experiences sometimes bury that, or cloud our ability to realize that. So it's important to do exercises that help us get closer to understanding the deeper, truer self so we have that more confident place to work from for everything else we do — not just in this course, but in life.

Take a few minutes to write out at least 5 "I am" statements about yourself. What do you believe to be true about you?
