Session Investment

This custom creative portrait session is being offered at a returning-client rate of $550 and includes up to 90 minutes of photography, custom setup, and 40 professionally edited high-resolution digital images delivered through an online gallery. A $150 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve the session date and is applied toward the total session fee. The remaining $400 balance is due no later than the session date.

Session Fee & Payment

The session is not considered booked until the agreement has been signed and the retainer has been paid.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

If the client needs to reschedule, at least 48 hours’ notice is requested. With adequate notice, the $150 retainer may be transferred one time to a new session date. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the retainer. Sessions may also be rescheduled by Cloudy Valley Photography due to weather, illness, or other circumstances that make the session unsafe or impractical, with the retainer transferred to the new date.

Model Release

If permission is granted below, Cloudy Valley Photography may use selected images from this session for portfolio display, website, social media, photography competitions, publications, studio samples, and advertising. No additional compensation will be provided for any permitted use.

Copyright & Personal Use

Cloudy Valley Photography retains the copyright to all images created during the session. The client receives a personal-use license for the final delivered images and may download, print, and share them for personal, noncommercial use.

Images may not be sold, used commercially, claimed as the client’s own work, or significantly altered or edited. Cropping as needed for printing or social media is permitted. Cloudy Valley Photography cannot guarantee the color, quality, or accuracy of prints ordered from third-party labs.

Session Timing & Late Arrivals

 Sessions will begin and end at the scheduled times. Late arrival by the client does not extend the session time and may result in fewer images being created. Cloudy Valley Photography will make every reasonable effort to complete the session as planned.

Image Selection & Delivery

Cloudy Valley Photography will select and professionally edit 40 final images from the session. Final images will reflect the photographer’s established style and artistic judgment. RAW or unedited files are not included or delivered. The 40 final edited high-resolution images will be provided through an online gallery within approximately 2–3 weeks of the session date.

Agreement

By signing below, I confirm that I am at least 18 years old and have read and agree to the terms of this Portrait Session Agreement. If I am signing on behalf of a minor, I confirm that I am the minor’s parent or legal guardian and have authority to enter into this agreement on their behalf.
