Thank-you for considering fostering! Fostering is one of the most important aspects of rescue as it allows us to take in homeless animals and give them a second chance at a forever home. During fostering the animal is brought back to health, fully vet checked, brought up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, defleaed and spayed or neutered as required. The foster family will help in the process of making the animal more adoptable by socializing it with the family and family pets. The foster family is also a key link in getting to know the animal better and letting us know what the most suitable placement might be for the animal.

The person providing the foster home agrees that: PLEASE READ TO IT'S ENTIRTY* This field is required.** Please Be aware this Application is ONLY for Fostering animals. If you wish to Adopt you must fill out a Adoption application Form. - The foster pet shall be an indoor family pet. - The foster pet can only be fed approved food by BPR - The foster pet shall be fed at least twice daily and in amounts to maintain proper body weight or as recommended by the Veterinarian. - The foster pet shall have access to fresh water at all times. - The foster pet shall receive care and personal attention to maintain social skills as deemed necessary for a pet. - The foster pet shall be supervised while interacting with any and all other animals. - The foster pet shall be supervised at all times when interacting with any and all children. Young children should never be left unattended with any pet. - The foster pet shall be kept in a safe and clean environment with adequate room to exercise and protected from conditions, experiences, and substances unsafe for any pet. - The foster person shall immediately to notify BPR of any health or behavior concern pertinent to the foster pet. - The foster person may not transfer the pet to any other person without the express written consent from BPR. - Loss of, or injury to the animal shall be reported to Broken Promises Rescue immediately - The foster home agrees that, if at any time Broken Promises Rescue (BPR) can terminate this agreement at any time and that the animal must be promptly returned to BPR. The foster home understands that the animal in their foster care legally belongs to Broken Promises Rescue. This includes Pregnant animals and their litters. If the animal is NOT returned to BPR upon request within 7 days the foster home signs and agrees to pay a $10,000 fee for not returning them to BPR. FOR CATS: - The foster cat must be indoor ONLY family pet - The foster cat shall be allowed to free feed or be fed at least twice daily and in amounts to maintain proper body weight or as recommended by the Veterinarian. ONLY approved foods by BPR can be fed to the cat. - A litter box with litter will be available except when the cat is in a carrier being transported between locations, such as a trip to the Veterinarian. The litter box will be scooped daily.
