Arts Centre Melbourne in partnership with Metro Tunnel Creative Program are excited to announce an open Expression of Interest (EOI), inviting Deaf and disabled artists, and their collaborating allies, to create a new site-responsive participatory work incorporating themes of movement, repetition and time.
We are looking for a creative idea led by or developed with Deaf and disabled artists that activates non-traditional and highly visible spaces in the Arts Centre Melbourne precinct, demonstrates an inclusive approach to audience participation and integrates accessibility as a creative input.
This opportunity is for Victorian-based Deaf and disabled artists, and non-disabled artists collaborating with Deaf and disabled artists. We encourage applications from First Nations, LGBTQI+, culturally and linguistically diverse and regional artists living in Victoria.
The Application Form is in two parts:
- In Part One you have the option of providing written responses OR providing a five minute video response to the questions asked
- In Part Two you must provide us with a budget and support material links and files
NB. Word limits noted are maximum amounts.
There is no expectation for you to write 300 words for every question.Shorter responses are encouraged.
If you would like to submit an application in an alternative format please contact us via email on PublicRealm@artscentremelbourne.com.au to discuss.
