ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COVID-19 SPECIAL CONDITIONS
In line with Government requirements, TAC has drawn up a COVID Safe Operational Plan to address the risk of COVID-19 spread in the lodge. Implementation of the plan has necessitated the adoption of a number of Special Conditions. Where there is any conflict between the Special Conditions and the Club’s Rules and Code of Conduct the Special Conditions prevail.
As the booking Member and person responsible for the people in your booking, we ask that you please familiarise yourself and those on your booking with the Special Conditions below. Your signed acknowledgement of these COVID-19 Special Conditions, along with a signed Health Check are prerequisites to each stay at TAC.
RESTRICTIONS ON ENTRY TO THE LODGE
Members and their guests may not attend the lodge unless they have signed and returned both the acknowledgement of Special Conditions and the Health Check no later than 24 hours prior to arrival.
Only managers, resident members and resident guests are permitted entry to the lodge.
All those entering the lodge are required to scan the NSW QR Code displayed at each of the entrances to the lodge.
Members are asked to strictly adhere to departure and arrival times to ensure density rules are not breached.
Arrivals NOT BEFORE 2pm. Departures BEFORE 10am.
HEALTH AND HYGIENE REQUIREMENTS
Practice good hand hygiene using soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitisers.
Cover coughs/sneezes with the elbow or a clean tissue.
Maintain a distance of 1.5m from others who are not part of your group.
Hand sanitising stations are installed strategically throughout the lodge and all bathrooms are kept supplied with soap and paper towel.
USE OF COMMON AREAS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING
To ensure 1.5m social distancing within the lodge, Members are asked to please adhere to the number limits indicated in each common area.
Members are asked to minimise their use of the washing machine and dryer and to try to avoid using these facilities at all unless they are booked in for more than 4 days.
Members and their guests may only use the room that has been allocated to them by the Lodge Manager.
Daily cleaning and disinfecting of frequently touched surfaces will be undertaken by Managers.
Members and their guests are also asked to take responsibility for wiping down surfaces in common areas especially the dining room.
Upon departure, members and their guests are responsible for thoroughly cleaning bedrooms according to the updated instructions placed in each room.
It would be reasonable for members to assume that any surface in the common areas of the club has been touched by someone else and therefore to take the appropriate precautions. Antiseptic wipes will be readily available for members and their guests to use on the surfaces they come into contact with.
IN THE EVENT OF ANYONE IN THE LODGE DEVELOPING COVID-19 LIKE SYMPTOMS
Where any member or guest develops a temperature higher than 37.5 or shows any other cold/flu like symptoms (as detailed on
) they will be required to leave the lodge along with all other people in the booking.
If the Lodge Managers form the opinion that any member or guest has developed cold/flu like symptoms or if they have a temperature of over 37.5, the managers have full authority to direct that member or guest to leave the lodge along with all other people in the booking.
If the Lodge Managers develop symptoms they will isolate in their apartment and seek medical advice. If possible, temporary managers will be appointed. Where this is not possible, the lodge will be closed, and members and their guests will be required to vacate the premises.
In the event of a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the lodge, all people in the lodge will be required to leave.
To encourage members to be honest about their health, any unused accommodation costs for members affected by the above circumstances will be refunded. The club will not consider claims for any consequential costs associated with cancellations.
The managers have the full authority and backing of the Board on the day to day implementation of these Special Conditions.
I have read and understood these Special Conditions and agree on behalf of myself and my group to abide by these Special Conditions in the interests of the safety of the TAC community.
