Northwest Harley-Davidson (NWHD), with the support of Law Tigers, is hosting a T-shirt design competition for the month of September 2020. Anyone can submit a T-shirt design from September 1, 2020 at 12am to September 30, 2020 at 11:59pm. A winner will be voted on by the employees at NWHD by October 5, 2020. A winner will be contacted to accept a $400 Northwest Harley-Davidson gift card as a prize, and to have their T-shirt design put on the back of a T-shirt and sold at our dealership.

Select one photo/pdf to submit. If you want to submit another photograph/pdf please submit it again. Submit high-quality images only. Acceptable files are high resolution JPGs, TIFFs, AI and EPS files.

Winner will be required to provide the original design in a high res format that is compatible with Photoshop, Illustrator or other professional design program.

By submitting your design, you agree to the following:

I hereby authorize Northwest Harley-Davidson (NWHD) to use photos and/or the design submitted including my name and likeness for marketing and advertising purposes, publicizing ad promoting of NWHD.

I hereby release and hold harmless NWHD from any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality associated with design specified above. Such design will likely, but are not limited, to appear on the NWHD website and other NWHD social media venues.

I further acknowledge that my participation is voluntary and that I will not receive financial compensation of any type associated with the taking or publication of my submitted design. It is understood that these images will be used by NWHD and possibly sold on behalf of Harley-Davidson on their merchandise.

I hereby release NWHD, its contractors, its employees, and any third parties involved in the creation or publication of such marketing material, from liability for any claims by me or any third party regarding my participation.

When you submit your Design to NWHD, you grant NWHD a nonexclusive, royalty free, perpetual, worldwide, transferable license authorizing NWHD to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, advertise, promote, import, create derivative works from, distribute, display (in whole or part), and to incorporate it in other products or works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed, whether for commercial or marketing purposes or otherwise, and to distribute in connection with your design your name and other personal information that you provide to us.

I agree that NWHD may, at its sole discretion, select your design to print, have printed, sell, ship, have shipped, or distribute to customers T-shirts using or bearing your design. In addition, NWHD may, at its sole discretion, display the design so selected on NWHD’s website or other associated social media forum and print, have printed, sell, ship, have shipped, or distribute to customers T-shirts using or bearing the design so selected. NWHD may reproduce, distribute, and display your design on our website or other associated social media forum(s) and in advertising and promotional materials related thereto. You acknowledge, however, that NWHD is not obligated to utilize your design in any way. For the avoidance of doubt, NWHD may display and sell T-shirts bearing your design on NWHD’s website and also remove or disable access to such design on NWHD’s website at any time at NWHD’s discretion, unless otherwise provided in this agreement.

You agree that you will not sell or license any part of your design to NWHD in a way that would impair or restrict NWHD from fully using the license you have granted to us.

You acknowledge that NWHD owns all copyrights to your design, subject to the license granted in these terms and conditions and any other provisions herein. You acknowledge that customers who own a lawfully made copy of your design may sell or otherwise dispose of the copy.

If chosen as a winner, NWHD is allowed to alter the design and/or T-shirt in any way.

Your design must be wholly original. By submitting a design you are guaranteeing that your design does not contain any copyrighted material, including images/copy found on the internet, unless clearly marked as published under a creative commons (cc) license.

At the sole discretion of NWHD, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following:

· winner’s failure to respond to the notification within seven (7) business days after being contacted that he/she won the contest

· the return of email notification as undeliverable after three (3) attempts

· winner’s failure to provide original design files

You must be 18 years or older to submit an entry. If you are under the age of 18 you may still create and submit a design, but it must be submitted on your behalf by a parent or guardian.

All entrants and winners agree that Northwest Harley-Davidson shall have no liability for any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property incurred by entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest and/or by the acceptance, use, or non-use of any prize received in connection with this contest.

Harley-Davidson employees may enter the contest, but will not be awarded the $400 gift card.
