Student film competition: Antarctica through fresh eyes

You as students are Antarctica's next generation! We want to see you put together a 3-minute video illustrating Antarctica from a new perspective. Why is the frozen continent special to you?
If you're a year 1-13 student in Aotearoa New Zealand, grab your phone or camera and show us how you see Antarctica in a way we've never seen before! How will you illustrate Antarctica as an important taonga treasure through a fresh lens, in just 3 minutes or less?

Winners will be awarded travel to Ōtautahi Christchurch where they will attend the premiere screening of their films at the 'Days of Ice' event on 12 October. The winning films will also be featured at the International Antarctic Centre for the next year.

Now accepting entries until 5 October 2020. Winners will be notified on 7 October 2020.

Please note by submitting an entry you are consenting to it being promoted by the Royal Society Te Apārangi and International Antarctic Centre across many different platforms.
