Book of Remembrance

Each year, the Massachusetts Center for Unexpected Infant & Child Death publishes a no-cost Book of Remembrance, which is a compilation of submissions made by individual families. We welcome your photos, quotes, poems, stories, drawings, important dates, and/or any other content that would be meaningful to you.

 You do not need to live in Massachusetts to make a submission.

Our Book of Remembrance is typically available by October 1. Submissions received by September 1 will be included for this year's book. 

Please note that we are saddened to share that the Massachusetts Center for Unexpected Infant & Child Death is closing effective October 15, 2026. Our commitment to families and professionals continues via the National Center for Unexpected Infant & Child Death. Please visit us at www.ncuicd.org.

Below, please upload any content that you would like to be published in our Book of Remembrance. You may upload any photos, quotes, poems, stories, drawings, important dates, and/or any other content that would be meaningful to you.

Page size is roughly 5.5" x 8.5" (one page per family). Upload as many files as you would like. If the size of your upload is too large, please e-mail us at magriefcenter@bmc.org. 

Please know that uploading additional content is optional. Some choose to submit only their loved one's name with no additional content. Each name that we receive will receive their own full page in our Book of Remembrance.
