Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Lotzadotz Dalmatians but it does not guarantee a puppy from this or any future litter.
APPROVAL AND DEPOSIT: I will review applications within 2 business days of receipt. Applications are processed in the order they are received. We breed infrequently, so we will only accept deposits when puppies are actually available. During pregnancy, homes may be accepted after relevent education, previous experience with the Dalmatian as a breed and or suitability of the home. You will receive notification to make a nominal commitment deposit on a puppy at or around 4 weeks of age. Please make this deposit within 48 hours of notification. If you make a deposit, you are committing to take a puppy from the litter.
YOUR PICK OF PUPPY: If your choice of puppy is not available, you may elect another puppy from the litter, if there is one available. Selection of a puppy will be in order of the Waiting List and you shall be able to visit to select from available puppies, have cuddles, take photos etc under strict hygience conditons.
Should you elect to not take a puppy from the litter, a partial deposit is refunded only and the deposit applied to the costs of the deposit in finding the puppy another home. Unfortunately, it cannot be forwarded to an upcoming litter as we do not have regular litters.
GOING HOME: We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable timeframe. If you have a big holiday planned or have events that would conflict with a young puppy, please know puppies cannot be boarded in a kennel until they have received their full immunisations which cannot be done until 10 weeks of age. Puppies should not be visiting any place other than a vet prior to 12 weeks of age, due to the prevalence of Parvovirus and the fact your puppy does not have full immunity as yet.
SPAY/NEUTER: We require spay/neuter at 18 months for males and not beforehand (this forms part of the education of Dalmatians). Females are preferred to have had their first season before speying. If you're a Backyard breeder you should probably look elsewhere. This might seem hypocritical at first glance, but we have a take-back provision in our contract. Any puppy from our home always has a home here, and will never experience the fear and burden of life at a pound or puppy farm.
REGISTRATION PAPERS: Our excellent family companions do come with Registration Papers with Dogs Queensland, either on the Limited Register or full Mains Register. The Limited Register is for non breeding, non showing dogs.
