    • Vacation Blackout Policy 
    • At Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. the busiest time of year is the Spring Season; between April 1st to July 31st, and then again during the Christmas Season, November 1st to December 15th. As a result, these are considered blackout periods. Therefore; no vacation or time off requests will be approved.

    • Workplace Bullying and Harassment Agreement 
    • 1. Workplace Conduct

      • Bullying and harassment is not acceptable or tolerated in this workplace. All workers will be treated in a fair and respectful manner.

      2.  Bullying and Harassment

      • Includes any inappropriate conduct or comment by a person towards a worker that the person knew or reasonably ought to have known would cause that worker to be humiliated or intimidated, but
      • Excludes any reasonable action taken by an employer or supervisor relating to the management and direction of workers or the place of employment.

      Examples of conduct or comments that might constitute bullying and harassment include verbal aggression or insults, calling someone derogatory names, harmful hazing or initiation practices, vandalizing personal belongings, and spreading malicious rumors. 

      3. Worker Must

      • not engage in the bullying and harassment of other workers
      • report if bullying and harassment is observed or experienced
      • apply and comply with the employer’s policies and procedures on bullying and harassment

      4. Application

      • This policy statement applies to all workers, including permanent, temporary, casual, contract, and student workers. It applies to interpersonal and electronic communications, such as email.

      5. Annual Review

      This policy statement will be reviewed every year. 

    • Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement

      Acknowledges:

      That during the course of my employment there may be disclosed to me certain Rainbow Greenhouse Inc. Trade secrets consisting but not limited to: technical information including methods, processes, formula’s, compositions, systems, techniques, inventions, machines, computer programs and research projects and business information including customer lists, pricing data, sources of supply’s, financial data and marketing, production, or merchandising systems or plans.

      I agree that I shall not during, or at any time after the termination of my employment with (The Company), disclose or divulge to others including future employers, any trade secrets, highly confidential information or any other proprietary data of (The Company) in violation of this agreement. That upon the termination of my employment from (The Company): I shall return to Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. all documents and property of (The Company), including but not necessarily limited to: drawings, blueprints, reports, manuals, correspondence, customer lists, computer programs, and all other materials and all copies thereof relating in any way to (The Company's) business, or in any other way obtained by me during the course of my employment. 

      I further agree that I shall not retain copies, notes or abstracts of the foregoing. (The Company) may notify any future or prospective employer or third party of the existence of this agreement, and shall be entitled to full injunctive relief, and any other legal remedies available for a breach in this agreement. 

      This agreement shall be binding upon me and my personal representatives and successors in the interest, and shall inure to the benefit of (The Company), its successors and assigns.
