• Young Carers Schools Award

    School Self Assessment
  • Thank you for your interest in our Young Carers Schools Award. We are happy and appreciate you want to improve the experience of young carers in your school.

The Award is made up of 10 standards - each of them designed by young carers at Carers in Bedfordshire.

The 10 standards reflect ways in which Young Carers can be supported in school or college to enhance their wellbeing and education alongside a caring role.

You can use this form to tell us how far you meet the standards and what your future plans are.

Our Young Carers team is willing to work alongside you if you need assistance to meet the standards.

Please note that you will not be able to save this form to complete later
