Proper Maintenance and Care

Students must keep the Chromebook in good and working condition.

Use only a clean, soft cloth to clean the Chromebook. No cleansers of any type should be used.

Insert and remove cords and cables carefully to prevent damage to cables and to the Chromebook.

Do not write or draw on the Chromebook or apply any stickers or labels.

Handle the Chromebook carefully and ensure others do the same.

Do not leave the Chromebook in places of extreme temperature, humidity, or limited ventilation (in your car, etc.) for an extended period of time.

Secure the Chromebook when it is out of your sight.

Computer Safety at Home

Our school laptops are equipped with Securly software that will provide the same safe use at home that your child gets when at school, provided they are logged in through their Mountain Sage account. However, it is the parent’s responsibility to monitor appropriate use of school computers when at home. Please ensure your child is using only their Mountain Sage login and using their computer only for school-related purposes.
