WHAT A CUSTOM FITTING SESSION ENTAILS
Identifying your current ball flight tendencies, the likes and dislikes of your current equipment, your needs and expectations from your new equipment. The interview process is ongoing to ensure that your goals are being met through each of the remaining steps.
The Static Fitting:
A series of measurements are taken to establish a starting point in the fitting process. Height and wrist-to-floor measurement are used to calculate your static lie angle and club length, and your hand dimensions are used to estimate your static grip size.
Ball Launch Analysis:
This portion of the fitting utilizes state-of-the-art Launch Analysis. The fitter will introduce a variety of clubs with different specifications to identify combinations in which your performance peaks. Exploring different manufacturers, club length and lie angle, shaft material, flex, and kick-point that combine to best achieve the optimal launch conditions for your swing.
The Dynamic Fitting:
It all boils down to "What Goes on the Score-Card". Dynamic fitting is entirely performance driven. Straighter, longer, and more consistent shots are key! Much of this portion will be done on the Grass-Tee driving range. This is where we fine-tune your most repetitive swings and identify the club characteristics that best maximize your launch conditions. We will also review ways that your setup and swing affect the position of the club-head at impact.
Fitting fees will be applied to your new set of golf clubs. In the event that we are modifying or manipulating a set that you already own, a portion of the Fitting Fee will be applied toward your repair order.
