TERMS & CONDITION
GENERAL
· Staricx Events' Contactless Thermometer Scanner (CTS) includes;
(1) forehead thermometer scanner (battery and/or cable operated),
(2) step-on mechanism stand with hand sanitiser
(3) personalised event QR Code for Safe Entry
(4) guest management system
· CTS is available on a first come first serve basis upon submission of this online form. CTS is not considered reserved until full payment (rental cost + security deposit) is made and rental confirmation email is received.
· During the rental period, "client" (registered renter) shall be liable for any breakage, faulty equipment and damages, other than normal wear and tear.
· The rental cost of CTS is at $125.00 for self collection/$155.00 for delivery to designated event venue including set up. An additional of $100.00 as security deposit is required on top of the rental cost. If client choose to use ONLY government issued Safe Entry QR Code for the event, there is an "Opt-Out" Option for the personalised QR Code at no deduction cost. The rental cost will still remain the same.
· The rental period for each day will start from 8:00 AM onwards. For any rental earlier that the stated timing, there will be an additional cost of $30.00 for early set-up request. For any overnight rental (past 11:59 PM on the event day), an incurred charge of $50.00 will be deducted from your Security Deposit. For any other situations, Staricx has the right to have the final decision on per case basis related to CTS rental.
· Under no circumstances will Staricx be liable for any personal and/or property damage occurring to anyone on premises during client's event even due to slippery conditions, any other mishaps/accidents or otherwise related to CTS.
· If client needs to cancel CTS rental, he/she must notify via sales@staricx.com at least 7 days prior to the reservation date. For cancellation of CTS rental within the following period:
- More than 7 days from event date; Full refund with Security Deposit will be granted only upon cancellation submission request.
- Within or less than 7 days from event date; Security Deposit will be forfeited, only the Rental Cost shall be returned to client accordingly.
- Within or less than 3 days from event date; Security Deposit will be forfeited, only 50% of the Rental Cost shall be returned.
- Within or less than 1 day (24 hours) from event date; Both Security Deposit and Rental Cost will be forfeited.
Emergency situations, which will result in any cancellation, will be considered on the per case basis.
SELF-COLLECTION & RETURN
· Self-collection of CTS will be in Yio Chu Kang area and exact address will be given only upon confirmation.
· Client is able to self-collect the CTS either one day before event date or on the event day itself. Please arrange and confirm the collection timing with Staricx accordingly.
· CTS will be dismantled into two compoments for easy handling and transport after which client will have to assemble the CTS at the designated location during the event.
· CTS is battery operated however one power socket is needed to recharge the thermometer or if client decides to operate thermometer using micro USB powered cable.
· Apart from the instructions given by Staricx, client is advised not to remove, alter, adjust or otherwise change any components or fixtures of CTS. Violation of this rule may result in having the security deposit forfeited.
· Client will have to return the CTS within the same day or otherwise scheduled by any staff or representative of Staricx. Additional cost maybe incurred for event timing extension request.
· If CTS is a) found damaged and broken upon return, b) if the thermometer is faulty and not working, c) if the metal stand and step-on mechanism is damaged and faulty, and/or d) all of the above needs to be repaired, Staricx and its affiliates reserve the right to claim and the security deposit shall be forfeited.
· Once inspection is done and CTS is in good condition, security deposit shall be returned to client within 5 business days upon day of return.
DELIVERY, SET UP & TEAR DOWN
· Staricx will arrange delivery and set up of CTS at designated location, one hour before the start of event.
· CTS is battery operated however one power socket is needed to recharge the thermometer or if client decides to operate thermometer using micro USB powered cable.
· Apart from the instructions given by Staricx, client is advised not to remove, alter, adjust or otherwise change any components or fixtures of CTS. Violation of this rule may result in having the security deposit forfeited.

SAFE ENTRY QR CODE & GUEST MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
· SafeEntry QR code will be printed and pasted onto CTS for guests who are attending, to sign in as part of safe management measures.
· All visitors/attendees (of all ages) to client's event venue must adhere to contact tracing practices, authorities' guidelines and any safe management measures during COVID-19 period by signing in required particulars before entering for contact tracing.
· Client's personal email will be needed to activate free guest management account prior to the event date.
· A detailed compiled list of all registered visitors with required particulars and sign in/out timing during event can be issued to client via email upon request. Client is advised to safekeep the report about two months or more for any contact tracing and safe management measures.
