  • Become a mentor for the 'Days of Ice: Antarctica through fresh eyes student film competition'

This form is to inform us if you would like to become a mentor and help students put together a video submission for the 'Antarctica through fresh eyes' film competition. Your role will be to provide students the necessary resources to produce their video, whether that be through technical help or knowledge on Antarctica.
  • What is a mentor?

We have two mentor types. Technical mentors are those that can assist students with basic questions about how to produce a good video story, or answer technical queries about how to do something they're wanting to do. Technical mentors might provide or link to resources (such as photo or video) that students can use in their submission. Antarctic mentors can help provide information about Antarctica to help students with their storytelling. As an Antarctic mentor you, or your experiences might become the subject of the student's story.

  • Please note that by completing this form you are consenting to us connecting you with a student.

Also, though you agree to advise students where necessary and adress their inquiries - you are not responsible (nor should you) make suggestions on the subject of their work. Your role is to support and advise.
