  • Terms and Conditions

As part of this application, you must read the following statements and acknowledge you understand and agree to each condition:

    • You must confirm to the Cricket Ireland Media & Communications Manager of your attendance at each match you receive accreditation at least 72 hours in advance . If you do not, you will only be allowed access to the ground as a spectator and not gain access to the media area or access any media benefits in line with COVID-19 protocols (this is subject to the ground allowing spectators and that capacity under COVID-19 regulations has not been reached).
    • You should bring your own beverages - tea/coffee/water will not be provided, in line with COVID-19 protocols.
    • Media areas and facilities will be very limited (max capacity three at most grounds), and mostly outdoors - we will do our very best to accommodate you at venues that allow us to provide space with social distancing, however, there will be no media 'tent'.
    • You should bring your own dongle and extension lead in case WiFi and power at certain venues have limited accessibility due to COVID-19 protocols (you should not assume previous conditions apply at some venues).
    • There will likely be no indoor facilities in the event of rain at most venues (you should use your car as shelter in this instance).
    • You must adhere to all on-site COVID-19 regulations while working at a match (eg. for sanitation, social distancing) and you must follow any directions of the COVID-19 Safety Officer on duty.
    • You must register your arrival and agree to a temperature check with the COVID-19 Safety Officer. If you have an elevated temperature outside normal range, you will be requested to leave the ground immediately.
    • You will be advised in advance of any catering, however, catering will only be served in takeaway packs and a strictly limited menu in operation.
    • You are not accredited until specific media accreditation access has been granted specifically to you by the Cricket Ireland Media & Communications Manager.
    • Media accreditation is not transferable.
    • You cannot approach any player or coach without prior permission of both the COVID-19 Safety Officer and the player/coach in question. Any approved interviews must be conducted with social distancing.
    • You acknowledge that contravening any of these terms and conditions may lead to media accreditation being immediately rescinded.
