Please note that you must join one of the clubs affiliated to BSSA. This application will be referred to the club nearest to you unless you specify which club you would like to join. The final decision regarding the club you join will depend on you.

Your application will be forwarded to the BSSA management committee for final approval once approved by the relevant club you are applying for membership to.

You will receive a formal email from the BSSA Administrator confirming the following:

1. That your membership has been approved or declined.

2. Your ring code if you have not opted for a personalised ring code (at a cost of R100.00 for registration thereof).

3. The contact details of your club Chairman and Secretary.

4. You will be added to the BSSA WhatsApp group on approval of your application.

5. Payment of R550.00 is applicable, payable to your club. This covers affiliation fees for a period two (2) years.

All payments to be made to your club and proof of payment sent to your club secretary.

PARTNERSHIPS:

The following partnerships are allowed:

1. Between individual members of different show status at the time the partnership is registered should it be beneficial to the members as well as the Society.

2. Between husband, wife and children of members even if they are of different show status.

3. The partnership shall assume the show status then held by its members, or in the case of differences in show status, assume the show status then held by its highest-ranking member.

4. Application for the prospective partnership shall be made to the Management Committee through one of the members’ clubs and shall be accompanied by a registration fee as determined from time to time.

5. The Management Committee is empowered to register such partnerships immediately once all of the above conditions are met and shall advise all club secretaries of such registration.
