Applications are now invited for the Adelaide Health Foundation’s New Initiatives Scheme.
There is over €40k available in the fund. It is envisaged that funding will be provided for projects of varying values e.g. [€3k / €5k / €10k].
All TUH staff can apply for the Scheme which funds new patient-focussed initiatives in relation to any service in the Hospital. The 2020 Scheme is also open to projects addressing the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic which has presented new challenges to staff in how they provide patient care.
Applications will be. assessed by the Foundation’s Support Sub-Group and will be subject to Board approval.
The applicant must have secured advance approval from the Hospital’s Executive Management Team for their project.
The application should include a full description of the proposed initiative demonstrating under the following headings:
– how the project will improve services for patients directly or indirectly
– how the project will be evaluated in relation to quality, effectiveness and efficiency
Cost benefit analysis
– how the project's present costs will lead to benefits in the future. The application should set out the costs of the project (including VAT if applicable) and state the grant amount being sought.
- Indicate when the project would be ready to commence and timescale to completion.
Terms and conditions
The application should include the name and contact details of Lead Project Manager who will undertake operational responsibility for the implementation of the Project.
The application should have written confirmation that a member of the Executive Management Team of the Hospital has given approval.
It should be signed by the respective Head of Department.
A report to be provided to the Adelaide Health Foundation within 3 months of completion.
