    Program Description:

The recent rise in blockbuster video game titles and the emergence of mobile gaming, to say nothing of esports, has jump-started fascinating legal questions in video game law and generated prominent disputes surrounding signature dances, athlete tattoos, and streaming sites such as Twitch. This Roundtable discussion will spotlight the unique issues in video game copyright litigation, including cheating as a form of infringement; how interactivity can create an extra layer of liability; learning lessons from copycats; and the danger that realistic world-building may cause real world problems.
