I authorize New Opportunities Organization staff, and my alternate contact, to request transcripts, IEP’s, copies, updates of my educational records any current and all of my previous schools.
From time to time New Opportunities Organization publishes brochures, advertisements for its programs, and other print or internet-based educational materials. For these publications, NOO uses student photographs and/or voice recordings singularly or in conjunction with other photographs and/or recordings. The term “photograph” as used herein encompasses both still photographs and motion picture footage.
“I hereby acknowledge reading the above statement, and understand that if I do not wish for my likeness to be used for said purposes, I will remove myself from being photographed as necessary. Furthermore, I hereby release NOO, and any of its associated or affiliated companies, their directors, officers, agents, and employees from all claims of every kind on account of such use”.
Enrollment with our high school program has the expectation of maturity, seriousness of purpose, and self-discipline of the student. Therefore, the basic rules and regulations of the school are enforced, including the Dress Code, Drug, Tobacco, and Alcohol Policy, the Dangerous Weapons Policy, and the Acts of Discrimination and Harassment Policies. The purpose of these policies and the standards of conduct in the Conduct Code is to provide students with an environment that is safe and free of distractions and conducive to learning. Students who do not adhere to the Conduct Code policies are subject to dismissal. STUDENTS WILL BE DROPPED FROM OUR SCHOOL IF THERE ARE ANY BEHAVIOR/DISCIPLINE PROBLEMS OR OFFENSES.

New opportunities organization places a high value on the integrity of its student scholars. When an instructor / staff member determines that there is evidence of dishonesty in any academic work (including, but not limited to cheating, plagiarism, or theft of exam materials), disciplinary action may be taken accordingly. A failing grade on an assignment in which academic dishonesty has occurred or removal from the program are among the disciplinary actions for academic dishonesty.
New Opportunities Organization places a high value on the integrity of its student scholars. When an instructor or EBI / LASD staff member determines that there is evidence of dishonesty in any academic work (including, but not limited to cheating, plagiarism, or theft of exam materials), disciplinary action may be taken accordingly.
Academic dishonesty during quizzes and exams includes, but is not limited to, copying another student’s work, allowing another student to copy your work, or receiving outside help from another person. Any other situation will be handled on a case-by-case basis but, in general, anything that goes beyond using your own ability and knowledge to complete a quiz or exam may be considered academic dishonesty. For any situation where the instructor determines that academic dishonesty has occurred, the student’s grade for the entire quiz or exam will be a zero and the incident will be reported to the EBI/LASD staff.

Safety is paramount to New Opportunities Organization and we established a screening process when entering our school sites. Your cooperation in this process will help keep everyone safe.
