    • Patrol Leadership Positions

    • Patrol leadership team members form the core leadership of our patrol teams. Patrollers selected for these positions must be prepared to commit to the following expectations:

      1. Be a role model for other patrolling members.
      2. Lead the patrol team in area of expertise.
      3. Help develop the skills of team members.
      4. Attend 100% of rostered hours or arrange a qualified subsititute.
      5. Attend a pre-season briefing at (Location & Date TBC).

      Specific leadership positions and the pre-requisite conditions to apply are as follows:

      1. Patrol Captain : Bronze Medallion, Silver Medallion Beach Management plus at least 2 additional qualifications. Significant experience as a patrolling member, previous ISR member, demonstrated leadership capability and great communication skills.
      2. Patrol Vice Captain:  Bronze Medallion plus at least 2 additional qualifications. Experience as a patrolling member with leadership capability and good communications skills.
      3. IRB Driver:  Silver Medallion IRB driver with previous patrol experience, leadership potential and good communications skills.
      4. IRB Crew:  IRB Crew Award with previous patrol experience, leadership potential and good communications skills.
      5. First Aid Officer:  First Aid Award with previous patrol experience, leadership potential and good communications skills.
      6. ART Officer: ART Award with previous patrol experience, leadership potential and good communications skills.
      7. 4WD/ATV Officer: Current Drivers License with no towing restrictions, ATV Qualification and good communications skills.
      8. Mentor: Extensive lifesaving and patrol experience. Ability to relate to and build relationships with members of all ages. Ability to guide and teach team members. Excellent communication skills.
