COST: $250 + GST
This package includes up to 2 hours with me on the day of your makeup trial at my downtown studio location. We'll go over your contract, the details for the wedding, and execute the perfect look for YOU for your big day.
Luxury, reusable lashes of your choice are provided and included in the Bridal package cost. I also provide under eye gels for the bride to eliminate puffiness and help hydrate on the big day. You will also get a touch up kit to take with you that includes a sample of your customized lip colour, powder for oiliness, and a couple other bonus items.
On the day of, I come to YOU, bring my setup and I am responsible for recruiting a second makeup artist if we have too many ladies for me to glam up solo (parties of 5 and up). We will have at least 1 hour on the day of for you.
COST: $100 + GST
This service is a 50 minute makeup application on the wedding day. Their look can be minimally customized due to time restraints, so bridal party makeup will be natural-medium glam depending on the client's preference. Neutrals (browns, taupes, bronze, dusty pinks, etc) will be used on the eyes and the option of a shimmer lid or matte lid can be chosen. Their makeup will include light, single use false strip lashes (optional if any ladies choose they don't want false lashes) and a lip touch up kit to take with them throughout the day. Bridal party are welcome to bring their own false lashes to use if they have a pair they prefer, as long as they are in good condition, clean, and sized properly for the client. No individual lashes or lash clusters will be used unless previously discussed as they require additional time.
* ANY last minute body makeup requests will be an additional cost depending on the area needing coverage.
* Total number of ladies requiring makeup (bride included) can not exceed 8, unless discussed prior to filling out contract with Alex Paul Artistry.
EYES ONLY MAKEUP
COST: $60 + GST
** This service MUST be pre discussed with Alex before signing on contract! **
This makeup application is focused solely on the eye area. Clients will start with a clean face and I will do their skin prep, lid prep, eyeshadow, liner, mascara, natural false lashes, under eye makeup, and brows. The rest of their face makeup they can do themselves if they so choose. Typically, this service is only booked for 1 or 2 people max in a wedding party, but it can be discussed. But this is also a great option for larger parties that require more ladies than time allows for.
COST: $0.60/km + GST
** This fee MUST be pre discussed with Alex before signing on contract! **
The travel fee is only required for locations outside of Regina and any local travel costs are included in the Bridal Makeup package. The km's can be calculated on Google Maps or Apple maps by entering your location of makeup and the distance from Regina, SK. The total km's must be multipled by TWO for the round trip distance and then multiply that total by 0.60.
Cost: $50 + GST
The holiday fee is an additional charge for any weddings taking place on holidays. Holidays include Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Saskatchewan Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
EARLY START TIME FEE
COST: $15/person + GST
This fee will only be added if the start time must be earlier than 7:30am and the $15 charge is only for any people requiring makeup BEFORE 7:30am. The start time is determined based off of the end time you provide. I will require 1 hour per person and generally like to plan to have an extra half hour at the end in the case of any unavoidable delays. If the contract is filled out with this column blank and an earlier start time is required, Alex Paul Artistry reserves the right to add the additional costs onto the owing amount.
This fee will only be added if paid parking is necessary upon arrival at the wedding makeup location. Parking fees can be reimbursed via etransfer or exact cash on the wedding day. The Bride agrees to reimburse any parking fees for Alex Paul Artistry and any assisting artists upon signing this contract.
In the event that the start time or the distance from Regina makes it necessary for me to stay overnight, accomodations will be required. I prefer to book my own afforable accomodations via Airbnb which would then be fully reimbursed, however the Bride can request to book the accomodations and pay directly if I agree. The early start time fee will only be charged additionally if the start for local travel is still earlier than 7:30am.
The Bridal trial included in the Bridal Package will take place at 2341 McIntyre Street, Regina SK. Please arrive with your face freshly washed, exfoliated if possible, and moisturized. I request that you wear a tank top or something sleeveless (or dress in layers that can be easily removed if needed) to best colour match your face makeup to the shade of your overall skintone. When you arrive at my building (signage out front), please park on the street and head inside and upstairs. Masks are not required for your trial as you will not be able to wear it for the application. Please wash your hands in the washroom upstairs before entering my room.
NOTE: if any bridal party members would like to book a makeup trial, they can book it online as a makeup application or contact me to arrange a different date/time. The cost will be $100 + GST, the same as a makeup application.
** The Bride is responsible for booking the trial prior to their wedding. I recommend booking it within 2-3 months before your wedding, and no later than 2 weeks before. Please contact Alex to arrange a date as this service is not available to book online. Note that weekend availability in the summer is limited for trials, but week days are very flexible.
Alex will determine the start time for the makeup depending on the end time you provided on page 2. In the event that another small wedding party or solo bride is requesting services for the same date and there is plenty of time to accomodate those clients, Alex may request an earlier time start or ask to slightly adjust timing. The client who booked and reserved the date first always has priority. Alex agrees to never rush or double book a date if it will take away from the experience of the Bride signing this contract. (I rarely take any others bookings on the date of a wedding).
Upon signing this contract, the Bride agrees to be organized on the wedding date and respect the time of the artists. Please have a rough schedule to avoid any time delays (ladies getting their hair done when a makeup artist and ready and waiting, etc). Please communicate to the bridal party that we will have 55 minutes per person and only have time for very minimal adjustments to the makeup once it is done. Alex Paul Artistry and any of the contracted assisting artists are not held responsible for a time delay if any clients are not ready to receive their makeup services when needed.
I will bring my setup onsite the day of the wedding. This includes my sturdy pro travel makeup chair (seat is 21" x 20"), a ring light and all makeup products and tools needed. If there are barstools on site, I may request to use those instead of hauling my chair with me. Please provide as much clean table space as possible for myself (and my additional artist(s)) to set up on.
I request that there are no young children around the makeup set up area during the makeup services to avoid distractions/delays. I am an animal lover and would LOVE to meet your fur babies, but please keep them away from my makeup kit and products for sanitary reasons (no animals on the table with my set up!).
To secure a date, a signed contract with a 50% deposit of total wedding service costs is due at the time of signing. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable (please read CANCELLATIONS below). Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be secured once the deposit and contract are received. The Bride can not switch makeup artists and must have their makeup completed by Alex Paul, even in the event that an assisting artist is needed to help with the bridal party. If a switch is made, the Bride will still owe Alex Paul the Bridal Package fee. This contract is transferrable to chosen assisting artist.
The remaining unpaid 50% of the total balance owed must be paid by e-transfer a week before the wedding. The person responsible for the entire balance of the payment is the person who has signed the Bridal Contract. IF there are any subtractions to the number or persons requiring services the day of the event date (in the case of needing to hire an assistant), 100% of the original total must still be paid. Any tips you would like to pay your artist(s) can be added onto your final e-transfer, e-transferred on or after the wedding, or paid with cash in person.
Because Alex Paul Artistry reserves the date and time with assisting artist(s) if necessary, after the contract signing and initial payment, Client may not reduce the number of services booked. Any changes/additions to guests or wedding party members requesting additional services after the agreement is signed must be submitted in writing via email. The Client must understand that an increase to the number of clients requiring makeup may not be possible if time does not allow, if the number of clients exceeds 8 (unless otherwise discussed), or if I can not recruit a last minute assisting artist. Changes will be accepted up to 14 days prior to the service date. The bride/Client signing this contract is the only person permitted to authorize, submit and change any arrangements for the wedding party. Alex Paul is the only authorized personnel to accept and make any requested changes. This contract will be transferable to any assisting artists required.
Should the Bride cancel the booked event or any service on the contract, the deposit will not be refunded. Once a balance is paid, it is NON-REFUNDABLE. Any other arrangements shall be discussed between the client and Alex Paul Artistry. If the makeup artist cancels at any time or is unable to perform her duties for any reason, 100% of the deposit will be refunded or pricing will be adjusted as needed. The makeup artist agrees to help find a replacement artist upon cancelling on the client. In the event that the assisting artist has confirmed and saved the wedding date for the Bride and the Bride no longer needs them or decided against using this artist, they must be paid 50% of what their total earnings would be as they reserved that date for the Bride, unless the change is made within 2 weeks of finding out who the assisting artist is. In the event of COVID-19 wedding's needing to be rescheduled, the deposit and this contract will be transferable to a new date after cancellation. The client agrees to not expect a new date to automatically be available. In the event that Alex Paul is unavailable for the rescheduled date, the deposit will be fully refunded.
*** If trial has already taken place, $105 will not be refunded from total deposit price to cover time/product cost of trial.
All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. All surfaces sanitized between clients and in the event that there is government mandated PPE required, it will be worn during the makeup services. Any skin or health condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist within 14 days to the wedding and if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release Alex Paul Artistry and another of her contracted makeup artists from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions. Alex Paul Artistry cannot be held liable from any exposure to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) or any other illnesses.
The parties agree to positive cooperation and communication. I am not responsible for damages to any on site properties. I have the right to refuse service to anyone:If I feel uncomfortable, threatened or verbally abused in any way, I have the right to leave the premises without completing services.
THE UNDERSIGNED HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED, READ, AND
UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT’S CONTENTS.
All parties understand and agree to all that is above. Client(s) agree(s) to only sign if they have read and agreed to the terms of service in this contract and they believe all information is deemed correct to the best of their knowledge.
