SMALL BATCH, BIG IDEAS PITCH COMPETITION
To celebrate the opening of Mitsubishi Motors North America’s new headquarters in Franklin, TN, we bring you the Small Batch - Big Ideas Pitch Competition. In partnership with the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, Mitsubishi Motors North America will be highlighting the businesses that help make Nashville, well, Nashville! We’re looking for 5 companies who represent the best of Nashville’s vibrant, creative and authentic spirit to join MMNA’s Small Batch Entrepreneur Network where you’ll have direct access to the best of Mitsubishi and curated curriculum to help you grow your brand and reach.
HERE’S WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Innovative, New and Exciting | The company is doing something different! What do you do, and how do you do it differently than the competition? Whether you're a small batch cookie store or a health care technology software company, we know you're working on something new, novel and special.
- Nashville Homegrown | The company is headquartered in the Nashville metropolitan area, MMNA’s new home. Counties include: Cannon, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Macon, Maury, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, Wilson. Bonus? Companies whose work particularly positively impacts the Nashville region.
- Small and Scrappy | The company has 50 or fewer employees. At Mitsubishi, we believe that small can do big things. We want to see what big things Nashvile’s small companies can do.
- Diverse & Inclusive to the Core | The company has a thriving, inclusive and diverse workforce.
- Retail Know-How | As a retail automotive company, we’re particularly interested in companies who will benefit from access to Mitsubishi’s best practices around sales, marketing and customer experience.
- Automotive? Yes, please! | Given Mitsubishi’s core products, it would be a bonus to find a company in the automotive, travel and mobility industries, or even a product or service that enhances the driving experience, like a Nashville-made cookie that pairs exceptionally well with a road trip.
- Anything else?
- The company must have existed for at least one year and have a beta or service/product in the marketplace.
- The business can provide a service or a product.
- The company’s employees have no family members who work for Mitsubishi Motors North America.
- The company must be a for-profit organization.
