APPLICATION/BOOTH FEE
As mentioned above in addition to the $40 application and processing fee Makeshift will be collecting 10% of sales at the end of each day, instead of a booth fee. This is to reduce the upfront cost for vendors.
Due to recent events, we will be adding additional safety precautions. To be considered as a vendor, you must agree to abide by the measures listed below.
REFUND POLICY
Application fee refunds will NOT be issued for any reason.
Application fee REFUNDS will NOT be given to any vendor who is not able to attend a market after submitting an application and reserving their booth.
In the event of a market cancelation by Makeshift, due to unforeseen circumstances, such as bad weather or a public health concern. An application fee CREDIT will be issued to vendors.
HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES
Temperature readings: Per retail space guidelines, each vendor must have their temperature measured before the start of each day. This will be done using a no-touch thermometer by MAKESHIFT staff.
Masks: Masks are required by all those in attendance when in the pop-up space. In addition, venue rules must be followed at all times. Anyone not in compliance with this State, City, and County ordinance will be asked to leave. If you are a Vendor that refuses to wear a mask, you will no longer be considered for MAKESHIFT events and forfeit your booth credits and/or confirmed dates.
6ft Social Distancing: This must be enforced and verbally encouraged throughout the pop-up by everyone in attendance. Signage will be in place as reminders, and seating will be spaced accordingly.
Hand Sanitizing Stations: These will be provided throughout the venue. We ask that each vendor bring their OWN bottle of hand sanitizer for attendees to use while at your booth. Vendors must enforce their OWN rules when it comes to touching products. We highly recommend encouraging attendees to sanitize their hands before and after touching products.
Booth Distancing: As mentioned above, booths will be significantly reduced. Booths will have a minimum of 10ft space between them to ensure room for proper social distancing.
LIABILITY: MAKESHIFT, it's owner and it's venue partners will not be responsible for any damage or loss to the vendor property, injury to, or death of the vendor. MAKESHIFT IS NOT responsible for ensuring sales. Meeting sales goals is the sole responsibility of the vendor. The vendor holds themselves accountable for all risks involved, including loss, damage, liability, or injury from any cause. The vendor releases and waives any claims against MAKESHIFT, it's owners, and it's venue partners related to the previously mentioned statements.
BOOTH CREDITS: If you were issued a booth credit due to a government-mandated event cancelation and would like to participate, please contact Angie ASAP at angie@makeshiftmakersmarket.com
* Credited Booths are limited
THANK YOU AND SOCIAL DISTANCED HUG!
Thank you all for your continued patience as we work through the challenges of this year. We are so ready to get back to Markets but have to take things one step at a time. And these pop-ups are one little step in the right direction. Though we understand that there are varying degrees of comfortability when it comes to practicing safety measures, we ask that you follow the measures listed above to ensure the health and safety of everyone in attendance as well as the safety of our community as a whole.
