  • Please give careful consideration to adopting an animal.

Animals are not toys or short-term commitments.

Ensure your lifestyle allows the time, patience and expense this animal will need over the years.

    MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICE

We make no apologies for the fact that we are very thorough in our rehoming process and we will turn a home down if we do not feel it is right for the animal concerned. We will therefore only rehome into situations where we feel completely comfortable with a particular animal. The decision of Roscommon SPCA CLG is final and no discussions will be entered into.

  • NOTE: This is an inquiry form about the dog you are interested in, not an adoption form.

We will review your form, and if we think you can offer a suitable home, we will email you and let you know. We will then arrange a home visit. If the home visit is successful, we will let you know, and you can go ahead and adopt. There are some formalities to be done first.

    1. We will need a copy of a passport or driving licence. (to comply with microchipping regulations)

    2. We will need a copy of a utility bill less than three months old.

    3. An adoption form signed.

    4. Adoption fee paid.

Once all this is in place, you can arrange to collect your lovely adopted dog/puppy.
