• The CAPACITY™ Organizational Readiness Assessment

Developed by Jennifer Yarbrough, The Nonprofit Expert™, based on nearly 40 years of nonprofit organizational development experience. Most nonprofit leaders believe their biggest problem is funding. It's not. Funding is rarely the root issue. It is the result of how your organization is structured, led, and operated. You can have a strong mission, a meaningful program, a real community need - and still struggle financially. Why? Because funders do not invest in ideas. They invest in organizations that are built to manage, measure, and sustain impact. This assessment is not designed to make you feel good. It is designed to diagnose what is actually happening inside your organization. As you complete this scorecard, answer based on: what is currently true - NOT what you are working toward - NOT what you intend to fix. If your answers are not fully honest, your results will not be accurate. At the end, you will receive: *your Fundability Score; *a breakdown of what is working; *a clear explanation of what is limiting your funding. This is not a checklist. This is a structural diagnosis.
