The Student Government Association Campus Improvement Grant will provide any Southwestern College group, organization, or full-time student up to $1000 to improve the College’s campus. SGA will award the SC group, organization, or full-time student whose project will best cultivate the Builder community and improve the campus, as decided by the SGA Senate. The goal of the Grant is to involve the entire student body and improve the SC campus.
Student representative(s) are required to present the grant to the senate for approval at the upcoming senate meeting. SGA will reach out with more information regarding date and time.
Grant Criteria:
1. Project must be open to all students on campus
2. Project must occur on the Southwestern College Campus
3. SGA will award the selected group or organization up to $1000. Any additional funding must be internally provided. Please consider the potential continual maintenance of the improvement.
4. A separate Approval Request must be signed and submitted by each of the following:

Morea Simmons, Vice President for Finance

Department Head or Overseer of Area being improved

Southwestern Faculty or Staff sponsor
Grant money must be used by July 1 of the following year.
