       It is our pleasure to cordially invite you to join us on this trip back in time. We are looking forward to meeting and working with all of you for this, our inaugural run of the Jubilee Renaissance Faire. Many of you have been a part of the Mobile/GCRF family for many years. With that said, we have been working diligently making improvements around the property, to the faire and we want to continue those improvements for years to come.

      Yes, there have been some changes, not only to the application process but to the rules and guidelines. Please pay special attention to these as they will be strictly enforced. We have implemented all of these new rules and guidelines to give everyone, from patrons to vendors the ultimate trip back in time.

      This year the entertainment has been amplified to a level unseen on Wilcox Rd. ever before! We have new additions; The Wheel of Death, Birds of Prey and a Four man, tournament style joust are a just few that will be joining forces with some of the Faire favs.

      We are looking forward to a jubilant, Jubilee Renaissance Faire.

  • Application Process:

  • 1. Please submit your application no later than October 31, 2020. Include photos of the product you will be selling and a photo of your booth. NOTE: Booth space is limited so get your application in early. 

    2. Once your application has been received, it will go through a jurying process.

    3. If we feel your product will fit with the Faire this year, an acceptance e-mail will be sent along with additional information and payment arrangements. If it has been decided your booth won’t fit with the faire this year, you will receive an e-mail stating so and potentially be put on a waiting list.

    4. PayPal is the only payment process that we are accepting at this time. PAYMENT is due 5 DAYS after being approved. If payment isn’t received with in the 5 days your booth space maybe given away or fined $25.00. Upon receipt of your payment your contract/application is binding and you are acknowledging that you understand all rules and guidelines.

  • Information:

  • Food Vendors - $650.00 for a 30 x 30 space. This space includes access to 30 amps of power and 1 water hookup.

    Merchants - $100.00 for the first 10 x 10 space. Additional spaces are in 10 x 10 increments at a cost of $25.00 each. (Please give actual tent dimensions below)

     All vendors must have their applications in no later than October 31, 2020. Please remember, to send in your applications early. Booths are be designated first come, first serve and it is believed most spaces will be gone very quickly.

  • Set-up:

  • Thursday, November 19th, 2020 8am - 7pm central.

    Friday, November 20th, 2020 8am - 10pm central.

    Saturday, November 21st, 2020 6am - 8am central.

    The rules and regulations that are presented in the next few pages will be enforced.Failure to comply will result in being asked to leave the property and risk being able toparticipate in any future KOV/JRF productions including but not limited to GCRF andother shows.

    The Faire will be open to the public November 21st and November 22nd, 2020 from 10am to 5pm both days. All vendors must have their booths ready by 9am. All vehicles must be off site by 915am. No vehicles will be allowed back on to the Faire site until the last patron has left. The service gate will not open until the all clear has be given by security.

  • Camping:

    Camping is available for both tents and RVs. There is an initial $20.00 charge for a 10 x 10 space with an additional charge of $10.00 for every additional 10 x 10 space needed.
  • APPLICATION FOR MERCHANTS AND FOOD VENDORS

  • Please understand that this agreement will serve as a contract once accepted and signed by you.

    You, as the merchant, are responsible for your own taxes, including all state and federal taxes. You are also responsible for your own liability insurance and you must provide a copy of insurance to KOV/JRF. Those without an insurance certificate on file will be considered self insured and will indemnify KOV/JRF from all claims.

    Food Vendors must provide a copy of the menu and pricing for approval by the Vendor Coordinator. If requested to remove items from your menu then you must do so. If you are caught selling items that have been asked to be removed, your booth will be shut down and you will be asked to leave.

    *Note to all food vendors – Selling beverages is prohibited.

    I hereby certify that I have liability insurance for my Merchant business or that I am self insured and therefore, agree to indemnify and hold harmless KOV/JRF from any claims for injuries, accidents or lawsuits that result from my business activities.

    I further agree that my business is licensed and/or complies with all local, state and federal laws. I am responsible for collecting, reporting and paying all sales and other taxes that are due.

    Merchants selling weapons, must have signage in place in their booth that includes language stating, “NOT FOR SALE TO MINORS”.

    Rules

    1. All vendors will check in with the Vendor Coordinator on set up date. NO setups will be permitted without contact with the Vendor Coordinator FIRST. ALL VENDOR SPOTS ARE ASSIGNED. ONLY The Vendor Coordinator assigns your space.

    2. All tent set-up must be completed by 8am day of show. Product must be set and ready one hour before opening gate. If this is not done you will be fined $50.00.

    3. No merchant will be allowed access onto property to set up during faire hours. Service gate will close to in coming traffic by 8 am. All vehicles must be off site and parked in vendor parking by 9:15. There will be a $ 50.00 fine for not being off the grounds within the above times.

    4. There is a STRICT NO PET POLICY that is being enforced. SERVICE animals only. All Service animals will be leashed. Second reminder to leash your animal, will result in you being asked to take the animal away from site. Service animals must present current vaccination and proof of rabies documents.

    5. No packing up early unless asked by Security or Vendor Coordinator. Anyone caught packing up early will be fined $50.00. In the case of hazardous weather, security will inform you of the threat and may ask you to start tearing down.

    6. There is 24 hour security on site. However KOV/JRF is not responsible for any theft or damage that may occur. Each vendor is responsible to properly secure their own area.

    7. There will be no unauthorized electrical cords across the property. If you have not paid for power, your cord will be removed.

    8. If you do have power, it must be run with the proper cord, and the cord will be covered properly to avoid issues with Safety. We reserve the right to remove any power cord that is not covered properly.

    9. The water main has one splitter, if you wish to use the water your water connector must also have a splitter on the connector. Otherwise, your water hose will be disconnected.

    10. This is a family oriented event, there is to be no use of foul language during faire hours.

    11. If your ropes or tie downs extended more than a foot past your tent, please remember to mark or light them. It starts getting dark around 5pm and we may still have patrons on site. It is your responsibility to ensure people don’t trip.

    12. You are required to have a working fire extinguisher in your booth/tent.

    13. We are here to transport our guests to another time. Period costume/ Dress is required. IT is NOT an option. Please no blue jeans, obvious tennis shoes, or logo T-Shirts.

    14. No stand-alone Pop- UP tents, they MUST be dressed, made to look Period or have ambience of the period.

    15. Children are the responsibility of their parents/guardians from the time you set up until you leave. Any child caught misbehaving will be brought back to you. You will be asked to leave.

    16. A. No outside alcohol is to be brought into the faire during the faire. Don't get drunk or you will be kicked out. B. NO DRUGS of any kind. Ever.

    17. All booths and Merchant Areas MUST remain Clean. During Teardown make sure to pick up all zip ties, rope, tape, etc. You will be charged a $100.00 cleanup fee if your area has not been cleaned.

    18. All vendors will be provided ID for Booth personnel and their vehicles. Vendor ID’s must be provided at all security check points and entrance gates. Vehicle passes must be displayed on vehicle windshields at all times. Parking for vendors and staff is located at the north end of Eagle Ln through security gate.

    19. There is No Smoking in front of patrons. If you are a Vendor/Entertainer/Staff/Volunteer and need to smoke, please use the designated Smoking Area located in the Vendor Parking lot. Pick up your cigarette butts!

    20. Do not use the trash cans throughout the faire for your personal trash. There will be a designated area in the vendor parking lot for you to remove all of your booths’ trash.

    21. NO FIREPITS are allowed to be dug, above ground fires must be in fire pits that can be contained to avoid mishaps.

    22. All weapons must be peace tied. No live fire arms allowed.

    23. In case of an emergency please contact Security.

  • 1. I hereby have read the current KOV/JRF rules and regulations and understand these rules and regulations and agree to abide by them while participating in the event.

    2. Furthermore, I agree to release and hold harmless KOV/JRF and the Staff for any injury or damage to myself or others by my own acts or the acts of others while engaged in any KOV/JRF hosted event.

    3. I also agree that any violation of rules or misconduct on my part MAY result in my removal from the Faire shall not entitle me to a refund of fees paid. Nor will I hold KOV/JRF responsible in any manner.

    4. I also understand that by signing this release, I agree to allow KOV/JRF to use any photo, video, or reproduction of any representation that I might appear in for promotional, educational and/or other purposes without payment to me.

    A minor is someone under the age of 18 and is legally under the care of a parent or guardian.
