  • Supervisor’s Termination Task List

    • Please submit this change notice to the HR department as soon as you become aware of the employee’s intent to resign.
    • Please ensure the employee submits a written notice of resignation and forward the notice to the HR department immediately. You can also upload a copy of the letter, email, text or othe form of written notice with this notice.
    • Please forward ALL documents you may have regarding the terminated employee to the HR office.
    • On the employee’s last day of employment, please collect all department specific zoo property including keys, radios and documents. Please notify the HR department of any zoo property you are unable to collect.

    Involuntary Termination Request

    • The HR Department must review all requests for involuntary termination and supporting documentation prior to holding termination meetings.
    • All involuntary terminations must be issued by a member of the HR department with a member of the employee's leadership team present.
  • Before promotions to leadership positions can be approved and processed, the position must have been posted for a minimum of 3 days and made available to all applicable department employees. The person selected must have also submitted an application in Paycom for the position.

     

  • New Process Update

    Leaders are no longer required to submit an offer request in Paycom for internal promotions and transfers. This status change form will serve as the offer request for all internal promotions and changes.

    (You still must submit offer requests in Paycom for all external hires and rehires.)
