    Text: Acts 2:14-24

Main Idea: With the coming of the Holy Spirit, the Church began to powerfully preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the only message of hope for the world.

“Preaching did not emerge from the church's experimentation with communication techniques. The church does not preach because preaching is thought to be a good idea or an effective technique. The sermon has not earned its place in Christian worship by proving its utility in comparison with other means of communication or aspects of worship. Rather, we preach because we have been commanded to preach.” Al Mohler (Acts 4:2, 5:42, 8:4, 9:2, 11:20, 28:31, Luke 4:16-21, 43, Mk 16:15, 1 Cor 1:17-25, Rom 10:14-15, 2 Tim 4:2)
