Below, you will find listed nominees for elected church leadership positions. This list of nominees is presented by the 2020 ACAC Nominating Committee and includes a single person/name to fill each open church office. Therefore, all of these nominees are now before you- the members of ACAC- for election to the church leadership positions noted.
Only men and women who have been officially received into church membership (and are at least 18 years old) are eligible to vote in congregational elections. When you cast your ballot, you must affirm in the space provided (below) that you meet these criteria.
Online ballots can be submitted between the dates of September 12 and September 20, 2020. Paper ballots are also available at the Union Place reception desk.
When casting your vote, you have the option to:
1. Vote to accept the entire slate of nominees presented by the Nominating Committee. Simply check the appropriate box at the top of the online ballot to vote for all the nominess listed below.
2. Vote to accept (Yes) or reject (No) the people listed individually by checking the appropriate line for each individual. In addition, you can write-in the names of others to serve in a particular office in place of one of the nominees listed. All write-in candidates must be official members of ACAC and at least 18 years of age. (Also, please note that you are not permitted to write-in the names of men to serve as Elders because of the special review process these candidates must go through in advance to help assure they meet the biblical qualifications to serve.)
Finally, you must indicate (below) that you are an eligible voter, that is, an official member of ACAC age 18 or over. If you have any questions about your eligibility to vote, please contact Pastor Blaine Workman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
