COVID-19 Release and Waiver

I am fully aware of the current global Coronavirus COVID-19 virus outbreak, the current travel restrictions, and inherent risks involved of choosing to travel.

I further acknowledge that Ebony Vacations cannot guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, vendor or suppliers staff, and other travelers and their families.

I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while traveling. 

I understand that it is my responsibility to check the latest travel information regarding this virus outbreak and that I should have travel insurance to ensure I have cover for all medical needs and trip cancellation, but understand that medical expenses/and or cancellation relating to the Coronavirus COVID-19 may not be covered. Travel insurance generally only covers unforeseen events. Most insurers classified COVID-19 as a 'known event' late January 2020. Please note that most travel insurance policies have a specific clause stating they do not cover epidemics and pandemics, especially when travel warnings are in place.

I understand that voluntary cancellation by me may result in loss of deposits and/or payments made on my reservation.

I am aware of the United States' travel warnings, travel restrictions and rules and understands the risks, am accepting of these and know that Ebony Vacations cannot be held responsible for any travel restrictions, illness, cancellations, financial loss, quarantining rules or measures put in place at airports or destinations I am traveling through independently or as part of the group.

I am aware that additional screening procedures and restrictions may take place at airports and in public areas. I am aware that Immigration or additional COVID-19 related restrictions may be put in place before or during my travels.

I am aware that masks may be required on the airplanes, transfers, hotel and during group related activitied and excursions.

I hereby release and agree to hold Ebony Vacations harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of Ebony Vacations or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from Ebony Vacations.

I understand that this release discharges Ebony Vacations from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against Ebony Vacations  with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from Ebony Vacations. This liability waiver and release extends to Ebony Vacations together with all owners, partners, and employees.

By signing below I acknowledge that I have read the foregoing Liability Release Waiver and understand its contents; that I am at least eighteen (18) years old and fully competent to give my consent; That I give my voluntary consent in signing it as my own free act and deed; that I give my voluntary consent in signing this Liability Release Waiver as my own free act and deed with full intention to be bound by the same, and free from any inducement or representation.

This waiver will remain effective until laws and mandates relevant through the completion of travel and/or until the restrictions and laws surrounding COVID are lifted.
