Choir Audition Files
Please upload the following three audio files:
Audio File #1: Sing a scale, UNACCOMPANIED, in the key corresponding with the voice type you are auditioning for. You may use numbers, solfège, or a neutral syllable. Humming is not permitted. Your teacher may provide the starting pitch. If you feel the provided key parameters don’t showcase your high or low-end well, you may choose to start on a higher or lower note respectively.
- Soprano 1: Ab, second space on treble clef, ascending then descending
- Soprano 2: G, second line on treble clef, ascending then descending
- Alto 1: E-flat, first line on treble clef, ascending then descending
- Alto 2: F, first space on treble clef, descending then ascending
- Tenor 1: F, fourth line of bass clef, ascending then descending
- Tenor 2: E-flat, third space of bass clef, ascending then descending
- Bass 1: D, third line of bass clef, ascending then descending
- Bass 2: F, fourth line of bass clef, descending then ascending
Audio File 2 – A Cappella
- Sing a song of your choice a cappella in any key. Your teacher may provide the starting pitch and/or chord
Audio File 3 – Song
- Sing a song of any genre which you feel best showcases your voice with piano accompaniment. The song can be in any language.
