2021 JP Family Camp Overview

Overview:

This is a brand-new opportunity created with families in mind. Families are together for a 3-day misison trip (2 full work days) to serve, share meals, worship, and stay together in a tent-camping experience. Program will be designed specifically for families.

Type of Work: Romney, WV

Families will engage primarily in a home-repair-based experience. Types of service opportunities may include painting, building steps, handrails, wheelchair ramps, performing yard work, etc. 

2021 JP Family Camp Work Camp Dates, Locations, & Cost: 

Family Camp Dates/Locations:

July 25-28: Romney, WV. Rural, Home Repair.

July 28-31: Romney, WV. Rural, Home Repair.

NOTE: Participants stay in tents on the grounds of the 4H Center. Families must provide their own tents (electricity located near each tent). Families may opt to stay in a local motel, at their own additional cost.* 

Cost: 

$99.00 per person (5th grade & older). Children 4th grade and under attend for FREE. 

(Payment schedule: $50 deposit, $49 final payment). All deposits are 100% refundable through January 31, 2021.

Required Adult Leadership

For our JP Family Camps, each family must have at least one parent present.

Upon the submission of your online application, we must receive a check within 14 days in order to process your application.

Dates cannot be guaranteed until payment is received.

Once you have submitted this application, you must send in your deposit check along with a signed copy of the following form within 14 days:

Type your name after each clause indicating that you have read and agreed to each.

1. Child Protection Policy. I have read and accept the conditions of these policies. 

2. Total Cost & Deposit.  I have reviewed and understand the total cost per participant of $99.00.  I understand that the initial deposit of $50.00 per person for 2021 is fully refundable through January 31, 2021.  

3. Background Checks.  I understand that the deadline for submitting verification that adults have been successfully screened is June 15.  Furthermore, I understand that the process for background checks can take longer than one month to complete and will make this a priority to ensure the safety and well-being of all campers and participants.  

4. Arrival/Departure Policy.  I understand that JP requires all participants to arrive between 2:00-4:00pm on the first day of camp.

5. Required Transportation.  The Jeremiah Project requires that each family bring a vehicle large enough to safely transport the number of people in the family unit.  It is helpful if the vehicles are large enough to carry several tools, a large chest cooler and water cooler to the work site each day. Families are responsible for all vehicle expenses, including fuel.  

I, (as the leader and representative of my church, or the adult representing the family) have read, understood, and accept all of the Jeremiah Project policies, schedules, deadlines & late fees, and all other information contained in this registration.

Remember, we must receive a deposit check ($50.00 per participant) and the form below within 14 days of submitting this form.  Failure to do this will delay the processing of your application. Churches may use a bank transfer in lieu of a check. Please contact the JP office at 866-574-5744 to receive a link for this option.

Cancellation Due to Unforseen Circumstances:

Should the Jeremiah Project Work Camp be cancelled due to weather-related incidents, a government shutdown, acts of God, a pandemic, etc. all monies paid through January 31, 2021 will be refunded. After January 31, the initial deposit of $50.00 per person will become non-refundable.
