RCRC provides fee waivers to selected athletes who cannot afford fees. Anyone wishing to be considered for a waiver must submit this form before the season payment deadline. For Spring 2024, the deadline is March 15, 2024.
Applications will be reviewed and fee waivers will be approved based on funds available, financial need and the athlete’s commitment to rowing and to RCRC. This means that in addition to financial need, other criteria include attendance, sportsmanship, effort at practice, work ethic, teamwork, and cooperation.
You may re-apply for a Fee Waiver at the start of each new season (fall, winter, spring, and summer) by submitting only this form and a new parent letter. Each fall, candidates will need to re-submit the full application. If you do not have the School Lunch Notification, you may still apply.
Things to know about Rose City’s financial aid policy:
• Fee waivers will be awarded to as many athletes as possible who meet the criteria, but depending on the number of requests and available funds, all requests may not be met.
• Athletes participating on a year-round basis will be given priority.
• Fee waiver recipients and their parents will be expected to volunteer for any work parties and regattas, as applicable.
PROGRAM FEES:
