I understand that as a volunteer for the City of Lamar Animal Shelter I represent the City of Lamar and the Lamar Police Department. I also understand that although I will not be covered by Workman’s Compensation, I am provided a measure of personal accident insurance by the City of Lamar. I further understand that as a volunteer at the Lamar Animal Shelter I am ultimately responsible to the Chief of Police but will coordinate my volunteer activities through those Police Department personnel who are assigned to supervise my volunteer activities.
