OCB 5th Anniversary Chili Cook-Off Contest
Do you make great chili? Do you know someone who does? We’re looking for friends to make chili for our 5th Anniversary Party/Chili Cook-Off!
When and Where:
Saturday, October 3, 20205 PM to 11 PM, VFW Lowell, IN, 17401 Morse Street
The chili should be prepared off-site and be brought to the event in a container suitable for keeping the food warm; a crock-pot, roaster or warming pot is suggested.Contestants can set up tables beginning at 4:00 p.m. Each contestant will be provided a table and table cloth for his/her serving station. Contestants should provide condiments that are normally served with his/her recipe. This may include onions, cheese, crackers, hot sauces etc. Tasting cups and spoons will be provided. Each contestant should provide an ample supply of his/her recipe to serve samples to guests. Approximately 100 people are expected to attend the event.Contestants are encouraged to have a tip jar on their table during the competition. The contestant who raises the most funds will win the “Tip Jar” award. Tips will be donated to OCB to fund programs. Guests at the event will be given tickets to vote for the “People’s Choice Award.” 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded.
