Bring a Reusable Takeaway Container System to Chicago
There has been an estimated 300% increase in single-use waste since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. In San Francisco, the start-up Dispatch Goods (Dispatch) is helping curb some of that waste by providing restaurants with a reusable takeaway system. Dispatch CEO Lindsey Hoell founded the company after working with the Surfrider Foundation's Ocean Friendly Restaurant program and discovering there was no real sustainable option for restaurant takeout. Dispatch's next target city is Chicago, and they need to prove to potential investors that it will be successful in the Midwest.
