Surgical fees

If surgery is deemed necessary, our practice will provide you with a written outline of costs.

If you have private health insurance, and are covered for the relevant item number, the majority of costs are covered by your health fund. However, Mr Pai's fees are not fully covered by health funds, meaning there will be an out-of-pocket expense to cover the difference. We give our patients a detailed estimate of the expected costs before treatment.

Please note that Mr Pai does not regularly participate in the known-gap scheme.

Please note that these costs are estimates only and can vary depending on your specific condition. They are based on recommended rates set by the Australian Medical Association. You will receive a part reimbursement of the total cost from your private health insurer.
