                       Terms & Conditions

We would be grateful if you could keep as close as possible to the arrival/departure appointments agreed, if you need to change the arrangements please contact us at the earliest opportunity.

    We are open   Mornings from........9.00.am – 9.45am earlier can be arranged..........  Afternoons........4.00pm –4.45pm ..............

Any vehicles brought onto the premises are at the risk of the owner/driver

Any medicines/prescription food must be supplied by the owner at time of boarding

A condition of boarding is that your pet(s) are in a fit and healthy condition. pet(s) showing signs of ill health, may be refused admission to safeguard the health of all boarding pets. An emergency contact person must be provided and must be able to collect your pet immediately if we require them to do so at any time for any reason. Collars are left on pets at owners own risk.   Un-neutered male cats cannot be accepted for boarding. If you have booked a room/hutch for multiple pets, (from the same household/ bonded pairs) if we notice any behavioral issues they will need to be separated for their own safety.

For the safety and security of your pet we strongly advise the use of a suitable secure carrier to transport your pet to and from the cattery. Pets are not to be brought in on harnesses. Please ask if you require assistance in carrying your pet we are always happy to help

It is a condition that your pet has been recently treated with a preparation such as Advocate or advantage for the control of flea infestation, Flea collars are not considered sufficient protection and the use of all collars is discouraged due to risk of injury. Any Pets subsequently found to have fleas and or worms will be treated accordingly and the cost (Currently £20.00 per pet), will be added to your bill you must let us know the details of your pets flea and worming treatments. Or a treatment of our choice will be given.

We stock Critical Care, for rabbits and Guinea Pigs which is a food replacement with additional nutrients, that we can give your pet(s) via a syringe, if they stop eating. It is very important for Rabbits and Guinea Pigs to eat regularly otherwise they can develop Gut Stasis, a potentially life threatening illness. We would obviously contact you if we thought administering Critical Care was necessary. A fee of £3 a day will be incurred. This is because Critical Care is expensive to buy, but can save your pet(s) life.

All cats must be inoculated and have the necessary annual booster injections against Feline Infectious Enteritis and Cat Flu –all must have been administered within the last 12 months and no later than 14 days prior to arrival. We prefer all cats to have been a valid and up-to-date certificate from the vet must be produced upon arrival or unfortunately we will have to refuse to take the cat, as we must protect boarding animals within our care.

All rabbits should be vaccinated with the combined Nobivac vaccine for Myxomatosis and Rabbit (Viral) Hemorrhagic Disease R(V)HD as well as the additional Filavac R(V)HD 2 vaccine. Please bring vaccination certificates with you on arrival as rabbits cannot be accepted without them. This is to protect all rabbits that board in our care.

The animal's owner accepts and agrees that whilst every care and attention is given to the animal(s), they are accepted by us at the owner’s risk. Also, belongings (such as toys, blankets, beds, leads, collars, feeding bottles, bowls, carriers and cages) are also left at the owner's risk.

Should your pet require veterinary attention whilst in our care we will arrange either for a vet to visit us here or for your pet to be taken to the vets, by agreeing to our terms and conditions you are giving us your consent to arrange for us to visit your own vets or our registered vets, whichever is appropriate, a charge of £20.00 will be made to cover the time and transport costs. All veterinary fees must be paid for by you.

If any animal is left for seven days beyond the booked departure date without contact from the owner or a representative the animal will be deemed abandoned. We will then follow the procedure to re-homed or relocate the animal to a rescue centre. All boarding fees and other costs up until the time the animal is re-housed will remain the responsibility of the owner.

We will from time to time take photographs of the animals in our care for publication on our website and Facebook, if you do not wish your pet to be photographed please let a member of staff know when you book in.

Payment for boarding includes the day of arrival plus the day of departure, not the number of nights. Unused days must be paid for as booked. All days pre-booked must be paid for. Any part of the day counts as a whole day.

At the time of booking, you will be asked for a deposit of £60.00 per booking. with £35.00 minimum charge per visit. £15.00 for small pet per booking with £15.00 minimum charge per visit This is non-refundable and non-transferable. Bookings over 20 days or £200.00 will be subject to a larger deposit. Short notice bookings maybe be asked for the full payment on day of booking.
