    All food we provide is free of charge. Please let us know what you would like us to feed your cat. All food we provide is ADULT. if your cat is on kitten, senior or a particular brand such as Felix a good as it looks pouch. or Whiskas oh so ect you will need to provide your own food its Important that your cat sticks to the diet they have at home otherwise they can lose weight and get diarhoea and vomiting. 

    we provide Hay and fresh veg for rabbits and guinea pig. any other food will need to be provided.

  • Please note Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day are 50% Extra

    We Have a Minimum Charge of £35.00 for Cats and £15.00 for Small Pets

    £5.00 extra a day for giving injections and extra medical care

    £6.00 extra for a room move 

  • Deposit of £75.00 per Booking with a minimum £35.00 per visit.

    £15.00 per small pet with a minimim £15.00 per visit

    Bookings over 20 days or £200.00 will be subject to a larger deposit.

    This will be payable on the confirmation of your booking your balance will be due 4 weeks before your arrival date

    Terms & Conditions 

    1. Appointments & Opening Hours

    We request that you keep as close as possible to agreed arrival/departure appointments. If you need to change arrangements, please contact us at the earliest opportunity.

    Mornings: 8:00 am – 9:45 am (earlier can be arranged)
    Afternoons: 4:00 pm – 4:45 pm
    2. Deposits & Payments

    Securing a Booking: A deposit is required for every booking. Once paid, all deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the date or reason for cancellation.
    Standard Deposits: £60.00 per booking (minimum charge £35.00 per visit). Small pets: £15.00 per booking.
    Large Bookings: Bookings over 20 days or exceeding £200.00 will be subject to a larger deposit.
    Balance Due: The full balance is due 4 weeks (28 days) before your arrival date. Late payment will result in the booking being cancelled and loss of your deposit.
    Short Notice: Bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival may require full payment at the time of booking.
    3. Cancellation Policy

    If you need to cancel your booking, the following applies to the balance (the amount paid over and above the non-refundable deposit):

    More than 14 days’ notice: The deposit is retained. 50% of the remaining balance will be retained as a cancellation fee. The final 50% of the balance will be issued as a credit note (valid for 12 months).
    14 days’ notice or less: All payments (Deposit and Balance) are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, as it is too late for us to resell the space.
    Early Collections: There are no discounts for early collections or reduced stays once the 14-day window has started; the full period booked must be paid for.
    4. Health & Vaccinations

    Fitness for Boarding: Pets must be fit and healthy. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any pet showing signs of ill health.
    Vaccinations (Cats): Must have valid certificates for Feline Infectious Enteritis and Cat Flu, administered within the last 12 months and no later than 14 days prior to arrival.
    Vaccinations (Rabbits): Must have valid Nobivac (Myxomatosis/RHD) and Filavac (RHD2) certificates.
    Failure to produce a valid vaccination record on arrival will result in refusal to board.
    Neutering: Un-neutered male cats cannot be accepted.
    5. Parasite Control

    Pets must be recently treated for fleas and worms (e.g., Advocate or Advantage). Flea collars are not sufficient.
    Any pet found to have fleas/worms will be treated at the owner's expense (currently £15.00 per pet).
    6. Veterinary Care & Emergency

    If your pet requires veterinary attention, we will use your vet or our registered vet at our discretion. A £20.00 transport/time fee will be charged. All veterinary fees are the responsibility of the owner.
    An emergency contact who can collect the pet immediately if required must be provided.
    Critical Care (Rabbits/Guinea Pigs): If a pet stops eating, we will administer Critical Care via syringe at a fee of £3.00 per day.
    7. Risks & Liability

    All animals are accepted at the owner’s risk. While every care is taken, Shangri-La Cattery is not liable for illness, injury, or loss of belongings (toys, blankets, carriers, etc.).
    Vehicles brought onto the premises are at the owner/driver’s risk.
    If a pet is left for 7 days beyond the booked departure date without contact, they will be deemed abandoned and follow re-homing procedures. All costs remain the owner’s responsibility.
    8. General

    Shared Accommodation: If pets from the same household show behavioral issues, we reserve the right to separate them for their safety.
    Photography: We may take photos for our website/Facebook. Please inform us at the time of booking if you do not wish your pet to be photographed.
    Updates: Management reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

    Shangri-La Cattery collects and stores the following information that we are legally required to collect about you includes

    ·         Your land line & mobile telephone number

    We collect information from you when you make a booking to board at the cattery.

    Or communication such as email, or text, when registering, we will ask for the information listed above. You may however, visit our site anonymously.

     

    Like many websites, we use ‘cookies’ to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the ‘Do we use ‘cookies?’ section below for information about cookies and how we use them.

     

    2 How do we use your information?

    We store your dater on our system, so we can to make future bookings easier for you.

    And to conform your booking has been made.

    And in order to contact you if an emergency accrues.

     

    3 How do we protect visitor information?

    We will not disclose any clients personal information to a third party eg Vet without obtaining your consent. We only collect the minimum information required to care for your cat.

     

    4 Do we use cookies?

    Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers system to recognise your browser and capture and remember certain information. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

     

    We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.

    We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advanced notice. Except as described below.

We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law. Enforce our site polices, or protect ours or others ‘rights, property, or safety. However non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing advertising or other uses.
