Recurve Bow and Barebow – 1 – 600 round from 25 meters; Single Spot or Vertical 60. Outer 10 scoring.
Compound Bow- 1 – 600 rounds from 25 meters; Single Spot or Vertical 60. Inner 10 scoring
We will have two archers per bale. 1 archer on the AB Line and 1 archer on the CD line. They do not share a target face. (this may change to 4 archers on a bale and 2 archers share a target face if Covid Restrictions are removed)

COVID 19 GUIDELINES
TO FOLLOW HEALTH GUIDELINES OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA, ARIZONA GAME AND FISH, AND BEN AVERY SHOOTING FACILITY; ALL PEOPLE WHO ENTER THE BUILDING MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES. Archers do not wear a mask when shooting. IF THE AGENCIES REMOVE THIS RESTRICTION, WE WILL REMOVE THE RESTRICTION. THERE ARE INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE A CARD RELEASING THEM OF THE RESTRICTION. THEY MUST EMAIL A COPY OF THIS CARD TO DESERTSKYARCHERS@GMAIL.COM
WE PREFER EVERYONE SUPPLY THEIR OWN MASK. HOWEVER WE WILL HAVE A LIMITED SUPPLY ON HAND IF SOMEONE NEEDS ONE.
FAMILY MEMBERS/COACHES OF ARCHERS ARE RESTRICTED TO 1 PER ARCHER AT THIS TIME for Cubs and Bowman . Cadets and older are only allowed a family member/coach if their is a health need. Contact Desertskyarchers@gmail.com for permission prior to registration.

EVERYONE ENTERING THE BUILDING WILL HAVE THEIR TEMPERATURE CHECKED AND BE ASKED HEALTH QUESTIONS PERTAINING TO COVID 19 AND ONLY COVID 19.

DESERT SKY ARCHERS WILL PROVIDE HAND SANITIZER AT KEY LOCATIONS OF THE BUILDING
EVERYONE WILL ENTER THROUGH THE MAIN DOUBLE DOOR ON THE NORTH WALL. EVERYONE WILL EXIT THROUGH THE WEST WALL BY THE BATHROOMS
Maximum of 50 people in the building. Once we hit 50 no one will be allowed to enter. DSA reserves the right to ask people to leave to allow archers to enter. (This may change if restriction is removed)
ARCHERS AND THEIR FAMILIES WILL LEAVE THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE FINAL END OF THE DAY. THEY WILL EXIT THE WEST EXIT AND TURN IN THE SCORECARD OUTSIDE. THEY HAVE 30 MINUTES TO TURN IN SCORECARD AFTER THEIR FINAL END OF THE DAY. ARCHER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR SCORECARD BEING CORRECT.
ARCHERS ARRIVING TO THE TOURNAMENT MAY BE ASKED TO WAIT OUTSIDE UNTIL THE PREVIOUS GROUP IS DONE OR OCCUPANCY NUMBERS ALLOW THEM TO ENTER
IF THE STATE OF ARIZONA, ARIZONA GAME AND FISH, BEN AVERY SHOOTING FACITY OR USA ARCHERY CHANGE THE POLICIES IN A WAY THAT CHANGES THE FORMAT AND/OR IMPACTS THE ARCHER, THE ARCHER WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL.
CHECK IN WILL BE DONE ONLINE TWO DAYS PRIOR TO START OF TOURNAMENT. YOUR CHECK IN INFORMATION WILL HAVE YOUR LANE NUMBER AND SHOOTING POSITION. THERE WILL BE NO EQUIPMENT INSPECTION BUT SPOT CHECKS WILL BE DONE DURING THE TOURNAMENT.
Please understand these requirements are in place to protect all athletes, officials and volunteers of the tournament. Desert Sky Archers hopes that next year will be healthier for everyone and tournaments can be run in a manner closer to what they were in the past.
We must get through this together and still enjoy our sport.
MEMBERSHIP – USAA/NAA membership listing Arizona residence is required to compete for the State Championship recognition. If your USAA membership expires prior to the official start date of the tournament, a copy of your USAA membership renewal and payment must accompany your tournament Registration Form. Your application will not be considered complete until your current membership is on file with the USAA. All archers must show USAA membership card at the tournament registration table. ***USAA Dress Code will be enforced...this includes official practice sessions***
1. Must present a professional, athletic appearance while on the field. (Torn, ripped or heavily soiled clothing articles are not allowed.) Clothing may be of any color, except as noted below.
2. Shorts, skorts and skirts must be at least mid-thigh in length.
3. No camo clothing may be worn. Camo bows are allowed in USA Archery events and accessories such as caps, quivers, armguards, etc., are permitted to be camo.
4. Denim is allowed, but must not be torn, ripped or have holes.
5. Leggings (tight fitting/yoga-type stretch pants) are allowed, but must not be transparent/translucent above the knee.
6. Upper garments must cover the front and back of the body, and the midriff when at full draw. They must also have sleeves.
7. Shoes must cover the entire foot. Sport/athletic shoes are recommended.
8. At no time will any article that bears wording, insignias, innuendo or images determined by USA Archery to be offensive or inappropriate be allowed on the field of play.
9. When participating in the U.S. National Outdoor Collegiate Championships, U.S. National 3-D Collegiate Championships, and Regional Outdoor Collegiate Championships, archers and team officials must wear tops that indicate what school they are representing. Apparel must conform to all university rules regarding school logo usage. During the Team and Mixed Team Rounds, all members of one team by class and division shall be dressed in the same team uniform. The teams of one school may wear different design and color uniforms (i.e. teams in different classes and divisions are not required to match). Team coaches and managers may wear a different style uniform than the team, but should wear the same colors and should be easily identified as the official of their team. Headwear is optional. In the case of inclement weather, exceptions will be made by Chairman of Judges (i.e. raingear, jackets, etc.).
Arrow Requirements (World Archery, Book 3):
11.1.7. Arrows of any type may be used provided they comply with the common meaning
of the word "arrow" as used in target archery, and do not cause undue damage to
target faces or butts.
11.1.7.1. An arrow consists of a shaft with a tip (point), nocks, fletching and, if desired, cresting. The maximum diameter of arrow shafts shall not exceed 9.3mm (arrow wraps shall not be considered as part of this limitation as long they do not extend further than 22cm toward the point of the arrow when measured from the throat - nock hole where the string sits - of the nock to the end of the wrap); the tips (points) for these arrows may have a maximum diameter of 9.4mm. All arrows of every athlete shall be marked with the athlete's name or initials on the shaft. All arrows used in any end shall be identical and shall carry the same pattern and colour(s) of fletching, nocks and cresting, if any. Tracer nocks (electrically/electronically lighted arrow nocks) are not allowed.

Some Bow/Ages will be combined due to low typical turnout.

Archers will finish scoring their 10th end and leave the bldg immediately. Scorecards will be collected outside the back door (West Door). They have 30 minutes from the end of the shooting time to turn in their scorecard. No corrections to scorecards will be allowed once the card it turned in. Archer is responsible for the math on their own scorecard.
Scores will be posted on Ianseo.net
There will be no award ceremony due to Covid 19 concerns. We are sorry.
Awards will be dropped off or mailed to archer's prefered Archery Club or Pro Shop.
