  • During our 2-Day Orientation, you will gain insights into CLC WORKS and its comprehensive services, assess your current educational status, and create an individualized plan with SMART goals to help you achieve your dreams.

    You must attend both days of orientation. The Virtual Orientation Sessions use Zoom and WhatsApp. Please download these apps to your personal device (phone, tablet, computer).

    Classes meet 2 times for 2 hours per week.

  • IMPORTANT: The class in the Lincoln Village/Westland area is a hybrid class. It meets in person at the library on Mondays and online on Google Meet on Wednesdays.

  • GED Classes

  • CLC Works offers virtual GED classes during the evening only. Our class usually meets Tuesdays and Thursdays or Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. virtually on Google Meet or Zoom.

    During orientation, you will

    (1) learn about CLC and your GED class,
    (2) review important materials,
    (3) complete enrollment documents,
    (4) and take an English and Math assessment.

      Part 1 - 3 Google Classroom
      Part 4: Assessment In-person at 5825 Chantry Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43232

     

    You can complete parts 1 through 3 in Google Classroom on your own time. You will take your English and Math assessment during the morning or afternoon at our Chantry Drive location.

     

    Please note our GED classes are held in English. To join the GED program, you must demonstrate a sufficient level of English and Math on the initial assessment. If your English and/or Math level is not sufficient you may enroll in our English or ABE program first, and then when your English and/or Math level has improved enroll in our GED program.

  • Our program receives funding from the State of Ohio’s Aspire program, which is supported in part by the U.S. Department of Education under Title II of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Federal law (PRWORA) requires that certain public benefits be provided only to U.S. citizens and specific categories of eligible non-citizens. We must verify your citizenship or immigration status before you can enroll. This information will remain confidential and will be used solely to determine program eligibility. You must provide documentation for verification during the enrollment process.
